Senior Technical Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with vessel crew, fleet team, and supporting departments to maintain operational condition and compliance with class, flag, and OVID requirements
• Maintain and promote company SHEQ and NINA policies
• Report work activities and progress to the fleet team and operational manager
• Collaborate with vessel crew, Docking Cell, and Centre of Expertise to prepare, plan, and budget repairs
• Oversee repairs and supervise crew and subcontractors regarding planning, budget, and quality standards
• Manage cost allocation for vessel repair, maintenance, dockings, damages, and modifications

Requirements

• Higher or Secondary Vocational Education in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of offshore equipment such as AHTS, CSV, DSV, and CLV
• Technical knowledge of active heave compensated knuckle boom cranes
• Familiarity with legislative and regulatory requirements for marine assets
• Experience in the operation of DP2 and DP3 vessels including the FMEA process
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and proactive initiative skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with specialized offshore vessels like Construction Support Vessels or Heavy lift vessels
