About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex hardware systems including controllers, embedded systems, and analog/digital circuits
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
- Oversee hardware validation, testing, and troubleshooting processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in hardware design methodologies
- Review and approve technical documentation, schematics, and layout designs
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Interface with customers and stakeholders to define requirements and resolve technical issues
Requirements
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience leading hardware/embedded systems design projects
- Proficiency in analysis, simulation, and implementation of embedded control systems, data converters, and RF/Microwave systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven track record of delivering successful embedded system products
- Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams within a corporate setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of atomic clocks, precision timing/navigation, and related fields
- Experience using FPGA/CPLD
