About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to architect high-performance, low-power FPGA products that meet market and customer requirements.
- Develop pre-silicon power models and PDN models at the system, package, and chip levels to explore PPA trade-offs.
- Collaborate with back-end implementation teams to define UPF/CPF specifications.
- Partner with CAD/EDA teams to integrate power analysis tools into the design flow.
- Work with firmware and software teams to define power management drivers and runtime policies.
- Create product power architecture specifications to meet aggressive power efficiency goals.
Requirements
- 10+ years of industrial experience in semiconductor architecture or design.
- Strong understanding of CMOS power consumption (dynamic, static/leakage, short-circuit) and advanced process nodes like FinFET or GAA.
- Expertise in low-power design techniques such as power gating, clock gating, retention, multi-voltage design, and DVFS.
- Hands-on experience with UPF/CPF and EDA power analysis tools.
- Ability to analyze workloads and build power models at various abstraction levels (system, microarchitecture, RTL).
- BS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Science (CS), Computer Engineering (CE), or a related discipline.

- Deep knowledge of state-of-the-art FPGA power features.
