About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate high-fidelity, rigid, and flexible body MBD models of vehicle systems
  • Conduct full-vehicle virtual proving ground analyses using 3D digitized road surfaces and advanced tire models
  • Perform load cascade analysis at chassis, suspension, and full-vehicle levels
  • Utilize MBD-generated loads to perform structural damage prediction and fatigue analysis using FEA
  • Optimize chassis, suspension, steering kinematics, and powertrain components
  • Establish and execute advanced co-simulation workflows linking MBD models with active controls
  • Validate simulation models by correlating virtual results with physical Road Load Data Acquisition (RLDA)
  • Partner with design, testing, validation, and manufacturing teams
  • Provide technical expertise in vehicle dynamics methodologies and generate technical reports
  • Incorporate automation and best practices into simulation workflows

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field (or Bachelor's with equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of experience in multibody simulation within the automotive industry
  • Deep proficiency in MSC Adams (Adams/Car, Adams/View), Simpack, or MotionSolve
  • Specialized knowledge in high-fidelity tire modeling (F-Tire, CD-Tire, or MF-Swift)
  • Proficiency in Python or MATLAB/Simulink for simulation automation and data post-processing
  • Strong understanding of structural analysis, fatigue, durability, and vehicle dynamics theory
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
