Senior Technical Services Representative

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and process development for coating products to key customers in the Puglia area.
• Support customers with plant audits, troubleshooting, and general technical assistance to ensure quality and service expectations are met.
• Manage product trials at designated customer facilities and assist with equipment installation or modifications.
• Conduct technical training seminars and communicate extended product knowledge regarding wood coatings.
• Evaluate product complaints and collaborate with laboratories to resolve technical issues and formulation problems.
• Assist Area Sales Managers by preparing samples and panels for presentations to help achieve sales and margin goals.
• Advise customers on product line changes, improvements, and paint specifications.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in technical support for coating products, preferably within the wood industry.
• Strong knowledge of the Italian Industrial Wood coatings market.
• Expertise in application processes, surface preparation, and finishing systems.
• Ability to hand-spray all major coating technologies.
• Experience working with automatic colour-matching systems.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues both on-site and remotely.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers.
• Willingness and availability to travel frequently to customer sites and production facilities.
