About the Company

Prior Labs is a world-leading organization in structured-data ML, pioneering tabular foundation models. The team is a small, highly selective group of engineers and researchers working to solve the next modality shift in AI by bringing foundation model capabilities to structured data.

Responsibilities

• Source scarce ML research and infra talent globally across mainstream and niche pools
• Position the company against top-tier foundation model labs like OpenAI and Anthropic
• Navigate multi-hub hiring across Freiburg, Berlin, and New York
• Screen technical depth and run efficient, structured interview loops
• Manage, negotiate, and close offers
• Maintain pipeline operations and metrics within the ATS

Requirements

• 5+ years of in-house technical recruiting at a deep-tech, AI/ML, or research-led startup
• Proven track record closing ML researchers or research engineers against frontier labs
• Experience hiring across at least two of: Germany, EU, or the US (NYC)
• Deep knowledge of the ML talent landscape, including top labs and conferences
• Proficiency with modern ATS architecture (e.g., Ashby)
• Expertise in outbound sourcing via LinkedIn, GitHub, Google Scholar, and arXiv

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in seed to Series B startup environments
• Ability to design structured interview rubrics and calibrated debriefs
