Senior Technical Recruiter

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering leaders to define ideal candidate profiles for senior roles including SDE-4, Staff, and Principal Engineers
• Evaluate candidate fit by reviewing past technical contributions, work history, and problem-solving approaches
• Conduct structured technical conversations to pre-assess candidates prior to formal interviews
• Build and nurture long-term pipelines of deep-tech talent across Backend, Frontend, DevOps, and Data Infrastructure
• Implement systematic approaches to target, network with, and engage passive talent pools
• Act as a brand ambassador to deliver an engaging candidate experience and articulate Hevo's vision to top-tier engineers
• Mentor the Talent Acquisition function by coaching junior recruiters on technical fluency and hiring practices

Requirements

• 10+ years of technical recruiting experience with a specific focus on senior engineering roles
• Proven track record of closing Staff and Principal-level hires at product or deep-tech companies
• Ability to evaluate engineering depth and technical impact beyond simple resume keyword matching
• Strong storytelling and communication skills to engage high-level technical talent
• Deep curiosity and passion for technology, including systems design and distributed infrastructure
