Senior Technical Recruiter

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruiting strategies to identify and hire software engineers, ML engineers, and other technical talent with defense-relevant experience
• Partner with engineering leaders and program managers to understand hiring needs and clearance requirements
• Leverage AI and agentic coding tools to drive recruiting workflow automation
• Lead structured, high-quality interview processes to assess technical excellence and mission alignment
• Build and maintain pipelines into defense-adjacent talent communities
• Provide leadership with data-driven insights on funnel health and time-to-fill
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience within the defense and national security community

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in technical recruiting
• Meaningful experience hiring for defense product companies
• Extremely strong candidate sourcing capabilities
• Strong business partnership and stakeholder influence skills
• Ability to manage multiple complex searches in a fast-paced environment
• High ownership mindset and ability to operate autonomously

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience recruiting for autonomy, robotics, embedded systems, or defense platforms
• Familiarity with modern ATS such as Ashby or Greenhouse
