Senior Technical Project Manager - Payload Engineering

Responsibilities

• Drive RF and communications engineering development by guiding projects from initiation to closure
• Develop integrated schedules with measurable milestones for all payload units and subsystems
• Proactively identify and solve cross-discipline challenges and implement risk/opportunity strategies
• Serve as a liaison between development engineering and stakeholders in supply chain, software, and operations
• Track and document project progress to ensure objectives, schedule, and budget are met
• Work closely with the Program Management team to implement PM best practices and processes

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a similar field
• More than 3 years of experience in a project management role
• More than 3 years of experience in an engineering role
• Engineering experience in circuit design, electromagnetics, and signal processing
• Proven ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment and communicate tactical plans clearly
• Strong communication skills and high attention to detail
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or other protected individual (as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Jira and Smartsheets
