About the role

About the Company

CoMind is developing non-invasive neuromonitoring technology to create a new era of clinical brain monitoring, helping to diagnose and treat brain disorders to improve patient lives worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end planning and delivery of sub-system projects across optics, electronics, mechanical, FPGA, and software workstreams
  • Build and maintain integrated project plans, including scope, schedule, milestones, and critical path
  • Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams and external development partners
  • Establish project governance, including regular reporting and steering reviews
  • Manage the RAID log to proactively identify and mitigate risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies
  • Drive projects through the formal product development lifecycle, ensuring design control and verification/validation requirements are met
  • Manage external partners, statements of work, and technical/commercial commitments
  • Ensure documentation meets quality and traceability standards for regulated medical devices (ISO 13485, IEC 62304, ISO 14971)

Requirements

  • Proven track record managing complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects through the full product development lifecycle
  • Experience leading teams spanning optics, electronics, mechanical, FPGA, and software
  • Strong command of formal project management (planning, scheduling, RAID, resourcing, and budget control)
  • Experience delivering products integrating hardware, embedded/FPGA, and software
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment
  • Strong technical fluency to engage credibly with engineers across disciplines
  • Experience in regulated environments (e.g., medical devices, ISO 13485, IEC 60601) is highly desirable
  • Recognized project management qualification (e.g., APM, PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable
