About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end execution of complex Operational Technology (OT) projects, from initial development through deployment and transition to operations.
- Direct cross-functional teams to develop project scopes, technical requirements, testing plans, and training documentation.
- Track project progression, milestones, and risks to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage project financials, including budget development, forecasting, variance management, and benefit-cost analyses.
- Oversee vendor engagements, contract negotiations, and procurement processes including RFP development.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven experience leading technical cross-functional teams.
- Extensive experience in IT/OT project management or operations (e.g., telecommunications, network, or systems engineering).
- Strong background in procurement, RFP development, and contract management.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial processes.
- Advanced skills in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or Smartsheet.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within electric or gas utility environments.
- Knowledge of Change Management and PMBOK standards.
- Professional certifications such as PMP or Lean Six Sigma.
