Senior Technical Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the NY AMI Project Management Office (PMO) for a $500M grid modernization initiative.
• Manage fiduciary responsibilities including investment planning, budgets, forecasts, and cost-benefit measurement.
• Coordinate cross-functional internal and external teams to ensure project delivery.
• Design, implement, and track Program KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Develop project schedules, resource plans, and business processes.
• Manage project presentations, regulatory reports, and stakeholder communications.
• Oversee the development of project design execution and the transition to day-to-day operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 7 years of relevant experience, specifically managing financials for large-scale projects.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing internal/external vendors.
• Knowledge of Information Technology design and architecture.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Project, SharePoint, Teams, Visio).
• Experience using SAP for financial budgeting, forecasting, and tracking.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and project accounting for cost recovery.
• Experience working with IT from requirements identification through project definition.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree.
• PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or Change Management certifications.
• Experience in auditing, controls, and metrics design/development.
• Working knowledge of utility business areas such as Electric or Gas Operations.
