About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the NY AMI Project Management Office (PMO) for a $500M grid modernization initiative.
- Manage fiduciary responsibilities including investment planning, budgets, forecasts, and cost-benefit measurement.
- Coordinate cross-functional internal and external teams to ensure project delivery.
- Design, implement, and track Program KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Develop project schedules, resource plans, and business processes.
- Manage project presentations, regulatory reports, and stakeholder communications.
- Oversee the development of project design execution and the transition to day-to-day operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 7 years of relevant experience, specifically managing financials for large-scale projects.
- Proven experience leading teams and managing internal/external vendors.
- Knowledge of Information Technology design and architecture.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Project, SharePoint, Teams, Visio).
- Experience using SAP for financial budgeting, forecasting, and tracking.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and project accounting for cost recovery.
- Experience working with IT from requirements identification through project definition.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree.
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or Change Management certifications.
- Experience in auditing, controls, and metrics design/development.
- Working knowledge of utility business areas such as Electric or Gas Operations.
