About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive propulsion, mechanical, and thermal engineering development by guiding projects from initiation to closure
- Develop integrated schedules with measurable milestones for Mechanical, Propulsion, and Thermal subsystems
- Proactively identify and solve cross-discipline challenges to ensure projects meet schedule and budget objectives
- Serve as a liaison between the development engineering team and stakeholders in supply chain, software, and operations
- Track and document project progress while driving risk and opportunity implementation
- Work closely with the Program Management team to implement PM best practices and processes across the company
Requirements
- BS in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- More than 3 years of experience in a project management role
- More than 3 years of experience in an engineering role
- Strong communication skills and high attention to detail
- Proven ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment and overcome obstacles with creative solutions
- U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status (required for export control compliance)
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Jira and Smartsheets
