Senior Technical Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated master schedule, cost baseline, and risk register
• Drive the program through design reviews, lab demonstrations, and environmental testing
• Serve as the primary day-to-day customer interface for briefings and status reporting
• Manage program subcontracts and coordinate with critical-path vendors for hardware components
• Partner with technical leads to drive decision-making and resolve cross-functional issues
• Ensure compliance with ITAR/EAR export controls and contracting requirements

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in program management of complex technical systems
• 5+ years of hands-on technical engineering experience
• Direct experience in the space, defense, or aerospace industry
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and complex supply chains
• Experience with rapid-acquisition contract vehicles and government program lifecycles
• U.S. Citizenship required (ITAR-restricted)
• Ability to obtain U.S. Top Secret clearance
• Excellent written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance
• Experience with SDA, USSF Space Systems Command, MDA, or NRO
• Experience with missile warning, OPIR, or HBTSS-class space-based IR programs
• Knowledge of MWIR sensor architectures and cryocooler integration
• Experience managing environmental test campaigns (TVAC, vibration, EMI/EMC)
• PMP certification
