Senior Technical Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary aerospace development effort, driving day-to-day execution of the program
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to plan and coordinate resources
• Synchronize a diverse technical team by establishing tools, practices, and processes
• Participate in technical discussions and work with the team to solve scoping and schedule issues
• Track and report program metrics on schedule, resource, cost, risk, and technical performance
• Serve as the face of the company to customers, subcontractors, and suppliers

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in program management
• B.S. in an engineering discipline (M.S. or Ph.D. preferred)
• Track record of delivering complete systems including hardware, firmware, software, and algorithms
• Experience in development or program management of satellite-based systems
• Ability to manage integrated master schedules
• Expertise in modern, cloud-based productivity tools
• Experience in vendor and contract management

Preferred Qualifications

• Systems engineering experience and inter-discipline technical trade studies
• Experience with Python, Julia, SQL, or BigQuery
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
• Experience managing and growing teams
