About the role

Responsibilities

  • Run infrastructure programs end to end, from kickoff through delivery
  • Own the roadmap for your platform area: shape the strategy, sequence the work, and make the prioritization calls
  • Drive data platform migration and modernization work, coordinating across engineering, data, and platform teams
  • Be the voice of the customer by partnering with engineering teams to surface pain points and feed them into roadmaps
  • Define success metrics and adoption goals, gather customer requirements, and ensure solutions solve problems
  • Build feedback loops with customer teams to drive concrete improvements
  • Partner with engineering and infrastructure leads to build plans and call out risks early
  • Track program health, milestones, and blockers to keep decision-makers aligned
  • Use technical background in distributed systems and data infrastructure to build credible plans
  • Participate in the team's release oncall rotation

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Technical Program Management or a TPM/PM hybrid role
  • Background in software, data, or systems engineering
  • Experience owning a roadmap, setting strategy, and prioritizing competing demands
  • Experience driving data platform or infrastructure migrations (data lakes, pipelines, warehouses, or compute platforms)
  • Strong track record leading cross-functional programs autonomously
  • Experience managing customer relationships and translating needs into technical specs
  • Ability to define and track success metrics and adoption
  • Clear communication skills across all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on familiarity with Databricks, Hex, or similar data platform and BI tooling
