Senior Technical Program Manager II

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple contracts, ensuring cost, risk, schedule, staffing resources, and technical performance
• Identify and mitigate potential risks to programs and develop contingency plans
• Lead teams of engineers in planning and executing test events and resolving technical issues
• Build and deliver effective presentations to communicate program status to stakeholders and customers
• Develop and track Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and manage Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics
• Lead technical interchange meetings and represent the organization in project development
• Mentor junior technical staff and program support resources

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience managing technical projects for the US Government
• Hands-on expertise with active optical systems
• Experience with space EO payloads, test plan development, astronomy, physics, electronics, software, or remote-sensing
• Active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility
• U.S. citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• Current SSBI clearance
• Exposure to MBSE concepts and tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler
• Familiarity with environmental testing for flight hardware
• Experience with configuration management and systems engineering documentation
• Background in astronomy, physics, imaging systems, or remote sensing
