Senior Technical Program Manager - Ground Systems

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated schedules for Ground infrastructure and operations, including antenna and hub system development and global network deployment
• Drive priorities and execution of Ground development activities across software and hardware teams
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Finance to remove execution obstacles
• Identify, track, and drive risks to closure to keep programs on schedule
• Negotiate with internal stakeholders and work with international customers on infrastructure development and mission operations
• Support technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and anomaly resolution efforts
• Develop and implement company-wide program management processes

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline or a related field
• 5+ years of engineering experience on large, complex hardware, software, or operations programs
• 3+ years of engineering management or project management experience
• Expertise in developing and managing complex program schedules using tools like Smartsheet or Microsoft Project
• Proven experience deploying and scaling infrastructure or operations internationally
• Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
• Experience in the satellite communications industry or related fields
• Experience with US Government satellite architectures and requirements
• Background in telecommunications and networking
