About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop integrated schedules for Ground infrastructure and operations, including antenna and hub system development and global network deployment
- Drive priorities and execution of Ground development activities across software and hardware teams
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Finance to remove execution obstacles
- Identify, track, and drive risks to closure to keep programs on schedule
- Negotiate with internal stakeholders and work with international customers on infrastructure development and mission operations
- Support technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and anomaly resolution efforts
- Develop and implement company-wide program management processes
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline or a related field
- 5+ years of engineering experience on large, complex hardware, software, or operations programs
- 3+ years of engineering management or project management experience
- Expertise in developing and managing complex program schedules using tools like Smartsheet or Microsoft Project
- Proven experience deploying and scaling infrastructure or operations internationally
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
- Experience in the satellite communications industry or related fields
- Experience with US Government satellite architectures and requirements
- Background in telecommunications and networking
