Senior Technical Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the strategy, planning, execution, and delivery of technically complex hardware products from concept through production
• Own the program budget and staffing plans, ensuring accountability for all project expenditures
• Create and maintain product cost models to ensure end products meet target cost requirements
• Act as the primary link between the program team and key stakeholders, providing frequent reporting to company leadership
• Use disciplined project management methodologies to define scope and develop plans that deliver within cost and schedule
• Monitor project progress, evaluate quality, and manage issue resolution and risk communication

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Program Management experience
• B.S. degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline
• Deep understanding of technical product design life cycles and problem-solving processes
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills to work between product, engineering, production, and supply chain teams
• Experience with budget and cost model management
• Proven ability to implement program management tools for scheduling, risk management, and resource planning

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience shipping highly complex technical products as a design engineer
• Experience working in start-up or highly entrepreneurial environments
• Experience leading hardware development with overseas manufacturing partners
