About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive all aspects of program execution for future satellite blocks, from the design phase through production and launch
- Develop integrated schedules with measurable milestones and manage complex interdependencies
- Drive priorities and execution of spacecraft development activities
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance to remove execution obstacles
- Identify, track, and drive risks to closure
- Communicate progress effectively to internal stakeholders and external partners
- Develop and implement company-wide program management processes and initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline
- 7+ years of engineering experience working on large, complex hardware programs
- 3+ years of engineering management or program/project management experience
- Expertise in developing and managing program schedules using tools like Smartsheet or Microsoft Project
- Proven ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment and provide creative solutions
- U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status required due to export regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
- Experience managing space or spacecraft-related programs from concept through production
