Senior Technical Product Developer

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical development for product lines including apparel, accessories, and home goods from sourcing through final production.
• Collaborate with design, production, and client services teams to translate creative concepts into retail and tour-ready products.
• Develop and maintain detailed techpacks, including BOMs, technical specifications, and production artwork.
• Lead product costing efforts and negotiate with vendors to ensure margin targets are met without compromising quality.
• Manage vendor relationships across domestic and overseas factories, driving sample approvals and resolving technical issues.
• Manage development and production calendars to ensure timely product launches and identify potential timeline risks.
• Review and approve all samples to ensure alignment with techpacks and strict quality standards.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the elevation of the broader product team's technical capabilities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8+ years of technical product development experience in apparel and/or accessories, specifically within licensed or pop culture sectors.
• Proficiency in building comprehensive techpacks, including technical specifications and production artwork.
• Proven experience in product costing, cost engineering, and margin analysis.
• Demonstrated track record of managing global vendor and factory relationships.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suites.
• Strong understanding of global compliance standards, product testing, and quality control practices.
