Senior Technical Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead a technology team to deliver end-to-end project solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Provide technical guidance in Life & Annuity (L&A) Insurance Policy Admin Systems and Mainframe technologies
• Establish high-trust partnerships with business stakeholders and product owners
• Collaborate with architects to define standards, processes, and technical roadmaps
• Judge the feasibility and trade-offs of different technologies to ensure high-quality solutions
• Estimate delivery costs and schedules for Inforce domain solutions
• Identify application transformation and rationalization opportunities
• Develop application design, configuration, test, and release management processes

Requirements

• 10+ years of Full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, SQL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, ISPF/PDF, FILE-AID, MVS, Endevor, and IBM Mainframe environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Ability to lead in a highly matrixed, outsourced organization
• Strong conceptual and analytic skills for designing complex algorithms

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading product/project development teams on the Vantage policy administrative platform
• Agile solution delivery skills
