Senior Technical Designer

Responsibilities

• Create and manage garment specifications and standards within the PLM system
• Oversee product journey from concept stage to final production approval
• Develop garment fit, construction, grading, and trim using tech packs and flat patterns
• Build tech packs with garment specifications and digital patterns for factories
• Inspect samples to ensure they meet company quality standards
• Communicate revisions to factories through fit comments and updated specs
• Review graded nest patterns and issue grading guidelines to vendors
• Partner with Quality Control to solve quality issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 8-10+ years of experience in Technical Design
• Deep expertise in women's apparel, specifically dresses and elevated ready-to-wear
• Knowledge of garment construction, grading, pattern making, and sewing techniques
• Experience working with overseas factories
• Ability to interpret design sketches for tech packs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
