Senior Technical Designer

Responsibilities

• Build fit blocks for key styles to serve as starting points for future development
• Manage the fit process from 1st Proto through to Bulk production
• Develop, maintain, and update technical spec pages for all styles by category
• Spec garments, conduct fit sessions, and provide detailed comments for vendors and factories
• Collaborate with international technical design teams to build consistent fit processes
• Work with merchandising to maintain quality and incorporate customer/sales data feedback
• Evaluate and revise paper and digital patterns to perfect garment fit
• Sketch detailed flats and use Google Sheets/Excel for internal and external communication
• Troubleshoot pattern and construction issues to ensure alignment with company standards

Requirements

• Minimum of 8+ years as a technical designer with deep category expertise
• Comprehensive understanding of pattern making, garment construction, and grading
• Proficiency in pattern making software, Excel, and Google Sheets
• Exceptional accuracy in creating and reviewing technical specifications
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for the duration of a shift
