Senior Technical Designer

Responsibilities

• Develop technical packages for fit sample development across all categories
• Evaluate fit, pre-production, and TOP samples for specs, quality, and workmanship
• Participate in fittings with designers and merchandisers using live models and body forms
• Provide detailed fit comments to factories including technical illustrations and photos
• Act as a liaison between Design, Sales, Production, and Factories to ensure specification accuracy
• Correspond daily with factory and retailer technical staff to resolve production issues
• Maintain product libraries, fit logs, and department documentation
• Coordinate with the Production department to ensure approval timing meets delivery expectations

Requirements

• 7+ years of technical design experience in Men's and Women's apparel
• Extensive experience working with Walmart requirements and processes
• Proven expertise in assembling detailed technical packages for factory instruction
• Strong ability to assign points of measure and determine appropriate grade rules
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with PLM systems
