About the role
Responsibilities
- Participate in quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and complete GAAP checklists
- Review and tag financial information in XBRL format
- Assist in preparing quarterly press releases, earnings call scripts, and annual proxy statements
- Research and implement new accounting pronouncements and SEC rules
- Evaluate disclosure impacts for topics like revenue recognition, acquisitions, and stock-based compensation
- Perform common stock reconciliations and calculate earnings per-share
- Resolve inquiries from external auditors and prepare audit schedules/memos
- Collaborate with Investor Relations, Legal, Treasury, and Tax teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or higher
- CPA certification is required
- Proficient knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong technical knowledge of SEC accounting and reporting requirements
- Experience with complex accounting research and technical memo writing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work toward tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Experience in the technology industry
- NetSuite or ERP experience
