About the role

Responsibilities

  • Establish long-term sustainable relationships with key customers by aligning Synopsys simulation and analysis solutions with their business initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for key accounts, managing a wide range of global resources including product, development, and sales teams.
  • Collaborate with Account Management to identify and execute strategic technical engagements that meet growth targets.
  • Map customer needs to business impact and communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure solution reliability and value.
  • Drive technical campaigns for complex engagements and advise customers on industry-related trends.
  • Own critical escalations and define decision points necessary to resolve complex customer challenges.
  • Contribute to talent development through coaching and mentorship in technical strategy and stakeholder management.

Requirements

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Electronics, Thermal, Mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional experience in an engineering software environment: 12+ years with a BS, 10+ years with an MS, or 7+ years with a PhD.
  • Minimum of 4 years in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., application engineering, technical support, or consulting) leveraging simulation software.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Synopsys S&A solutions and their application to customer business impacts.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (25–50%).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency with Synopsys simulation and analysis (S&A) tools and workflows in electromagnetic, signal integrity, or semiconductor-related areas.
  • Previous experience working in Electronics, particularly in high-frequency or semiconductor domains.
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with senior business managers and C-level executives.
