About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical authority for Tier 1 Financial Services accounts, managing relationships with CISOs, Heads of Fraud, and Platform Engineering leaders.
- Own the end-to-end technical account relationship, including architecture reviews, roadmap alignment, and long-term platform strategy.
- Maintain deep working knowledge of customer integration architectures, including Web/Mobile SDKs, REST/webhooks, async patterns, and AWS deployment models.
- Lead incident response for assigned accounts, managing technical bridges, executive communication, and post-incident remediation plans.
- Manage formal change and release processes, including upgrade windows, test plans, and rollback procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR, and CCPA within customer integrations.
- Synthesize customer patterns into actionable product feedback for Engineering and Product teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a technical customer-facing role (TAM, Solutions Architect, or Principal SE) with ownership of Tier 1 enterprise accounts.
- Full-stack integration fluency: Web/Mobile SDK, REST/webhooks, async patterns, SQL, logs, and distributed tracing.
- Proven experience working with Tier 1 financial services institutions in a technical capacity.
- Hands-on AWS architecture experience, including multi-region deployment and availability zones.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or equivalent languages.
- Experience with incident command and leading major production incidents at the enterprise level.
- Strong data analysis skills for building operational dashboards, health scorecards, and SLA reports.
- Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR/CCPA, or PIPEDA).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with identity verification, fraud prevention, biometrics, or related security products.
- Knowledge of SDK injection attacks, client-side security threat modeling, or mobile application security.
- Experience at a high-growth SaaS company scaling through a hypergrowth phase.
