Senior Tech Specialist, Digital Workplaces

Responsibilities

• Assess business requirements and evaluate existing endpoint estates to identify modernization opportunities.
• Design and deploy Windows 365 Cloud PC or Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, including provisioning policies and network configurations.
• Implement Microsoft Intune for modern device management across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
• Lead the design and rollout of Windows Autopilot for zero-touch device provisioning.
• Configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) join/hybrid scenarios and conditional access policies.
• Develop and maintain Modern Endpoint standards, including Windows 11 update rings and patch compliance via Windows Update for Business.
• Integrate endpoint management with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Purview compliance.
• Provide SME-level technical authority to support the transition from legacy tools like SCCM/MECM to cloud-native management.
• Produce technical documentation including high-level designs (HLDs), low-level designs (LLDs), and operational runbooks.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune (compliance, configuration profiles, and app protection).
• Proven experience designing and deploying Windows 365 Cloud PC or Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) solutions.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and identity-driven endpoint security.
• Experience with Windows Autopilot provisioning modes.
• Solid understanding of Windows 11 deployment and servicing rings.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint onboarding.
• Experience migrating organizations from legacy management tools (SCCM/MECM, Group Policy) to cloud-native Intune.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications such as MD-102 (Endpoint Administrator) or MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator).
• Experience with Microsoft Graph API and PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Exposure to Universal Print and OneDrive Known Folder Move.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks like ISO 27001 or Cyber Essentials.
