Senior Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of Enhanced Client Support Unit initiatives through staff and provider training
• Research and prepare reports using quantitative statistical analysis of trend data for quality control and performance measurement
• Direct unit activity regarding the development and implementation of program designs for emergent client needs
• Analyze long term trends in Next Step shelters and program shelters, including ILP violations and client transitions to independent living
• Coordinate unit activities to enhance communication between the Agency, Next Step shelters, and Program shelters
• Oversee human resources issues for unit staff, including compliance with Code of Conduct, EEO Law, and performance evaluations

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
• Four years of progressively responsible experience in social services, including one year at the administrative or managerial level
• Must be permanent in the Administrative Director of Social Services civil service title or eligible for title change
• Or reachable with a score of 100 on the Open Competitive Administrative Director of Social Services exam (# 1121)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in related fields such as Social Work, Public Administration, Psychology, or Sociology
• Valid New York State Registration as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW)
