Senior Team Lead, Finance Controllership

Responsibilities

• Lead the Procure to Pay process and ensure timely review of Accounts Payable in coordination with business units.
• Manage the review of tangible and intangible assets, including documentation, accounting, depreciation, and physical verification.
• Oversee intercompany transactions to mitigate risks related to transfer pricing and withholding tax.
• Prepare and review monthly MIS reports as per US GAAP, including variance analysis and detailed schedule reviews.
• Drive process automation to reduce manual dependency and improve efficiency.
• Support legal, tax, and FP&A teams with various financial requirements.
• Strengthen internal processes and policies to ensure transparency and compliance.
• Assess risks and review key controls to implement necessary mitigation actions.
• Prepare financial statements, including notes to accounts and cash flow statements, in compliance with India GAAP.
• Lead the statutory audit closure process, managing discussions on major issues and recommendations.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant with 8+ years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Strong knowledge of both US GAAP and India GAAP.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong business partnering abilities.
• Highly organized with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within large teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of the Workday Financial System.
