Senior Tax Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file various tax returns, including VAT, withholding tax, payroll tax, and annual income tax returns
• Analyze financial accounts and apply relevant tax laws and regulations
• Support and supervise junior team members in executing their daily tasks
• Lead the preparation of tax examination files and working papers
• Conduct research on Egyptian and international tax laws, rulings, and updates
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients and tax authorities
• Ensure strict compliance with deadlines and documentation standards
• Provide guidance, training, and constructive feedback to the tax team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in tax compliance and advisory
• Solid knowledge of Egyptian tax laws and understanding of international taxation principles
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and tax/accounting software
• Excellent communication and reporting skills in both Arabic and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a consultancy or audit firm
