Senior Tax Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage overall taxation compliance for IMEA Area territories, ensuring books comply with local statutory requirements
• Oversee direct taxation including corporate income tax, TDS, TCS, and Pillar Two regulatory compliance
• Manage indirect taxation including GST return filing, reconciliation, and input tax credit optimization
• Ensure compliance with VAT, Excise laws, and customs-related payment compliances
• Coordinate transfer pricing statements, regulatory filings, and intercompany agreement reviews
• Provide expert advice on tax planning, optimization opportunities, and business proposal evaluations
• Support tax audits, scrutiny assessments, and liaise with tax authorities

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Law
• 5+ years of experience in Indian taxation (both direct and indirect)
• Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws and regulations
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, and accounting software
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the alcobev (alcoholic beverages) industry
