Senior Talent Specialist

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruitment for hardware engineering roles across regions
• Build and maintain proactive pipelines of hardware talent including embedded, electrical, mechanical, and RF specialists
• Partner with hardware engineering leaders to understand technical requirements and success profiles
• Contribute to talent strategy, workforce planning, and EVP development for hardware audiences
• Build scalable recruitment practices and tooling for growing volumes and multiple geographies
• Coach hiring managers on interviewing, technical assessment design, and decision-making
• Represent Halter at engineering events, university programs, and industry forums
• Track and report on key metrics such as time-to-fill and offer acceptance rates

Requirements

• 5+ years in talent acquisition with a significant focus on hardware engineering recruitment
• Proven track record sourcing and closing hardware talent in competitive, niche markets
• Experience recruiting across multiple hardware disciplines and regions
• Strong technical literacy regarding hardware stacks and design tools
• Ability to deliver high-quality hires at pace in high-growth environments
• Strong data and reporting skills
• Familiarity with employment laws and compliance in New Zealand and Australia
• High emotional intelligence and proactive, solutions-focused approach
