Senior Tactical Data Link Engineer

Responsibilities

• Establish technical specifications for equipment to meet operational needs
• Select and advise on suitable equipment manufacturers for innovative solutions
• Act as the technical interface between manufacturers and clients throughout development
• Provide technical support for integration, ground tests, and flight tests
• Provide technical justifications for equipment certification
• Offer expert technical support for equipment currently in service
• Mentor and train new team members
• Participate in technical recruitment and candidate evaluation
• Support pre-sales activities and respond to tenders with technical solutions
• Represent the company at technical conferences and forums

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5) in embedded systems or electronics
• Minimum 3 years of experience in systems engineering
• Proficiency in tactical data link protocols (L11, L16, L22)
• Knowledge of HF / UHF radiocommunication
• Experience with transmission protocols/standards: MIL-STD-1553, STANAG 3910, Ethernet Link
• Knowledge of audio transmission and reception
• General knowledge of aeronautical mission architecture
