Senior Systems Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Identify weapon system critical program information (CPI) and determine the consequences of compromise
• Conduct critical analysis and modeling on proposed architectures and document protective architectures
• Develop and advocate contractual requirements in support of developmental programs
• Facilitate evaluation of weapons system architectures for compliance with protection standards
• Coordinate with program, service, Joint, and DoD agencies to ensure system horizontal protection requirements are met
• Assist the Navy Verification & Validation (V&V) team with the assessment of system designs and solutions
• Support program risk management, mitigation, and reporting
• Serve as a Technical Review Board (TRB) member for systems technical events providing SSE expertise

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related scientific/technical discipline
• 10+ years of recent and relevant experience in systems engineering, including systems security engineering (SSE)
• Proven experience with the application of systems engineering methods and tools in the development of weapon systems
• Deep knowledge of DoD systems acquisition life cycle
• Ability to possess and maintain a Top Secret clearance (ability to obtain TS/SCI is required)
• Must be a US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related scientific or technical discipline
• Knowledge of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and digital engineering transformations
• Recent and direct experience in Anti-Tamper (AT) systems engineering
• Recent and direct experience with DoD acquisitions
