Senior Systems Safety Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform Fault Tree Analysis for designated airplane systems across Boeing Commercial Airplanes programs
• Support verification, validation, and certification readiness through System Safety Assessments
• Prepare and present compliance evidence to both internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with suppliers, program leadership, and functional teams to resolve cross-functional technical issues
• Drive continuous improvement of methods, tools, and technical performance measures
• Mentor junior engineers within the systems safety team

Requirements

• Must have existing legal rights to work in Brazil
• Engineering degree (Bachelor's degree or equivalent)
• Registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (CREA)
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with certification and compliance frameworks such as ARP-4761, FAR Part 25.1309, and 25.1301
• Familiarity with FAA/ANAC processes and product assurance
• Experience working with suppliers to assess and review Fault Tree Analysis
• Experience in Airplane Level Fault Trees integration
