Senior Systems Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the administration and infrastructure management of large-scale CI/CD tools and systems across on-premise and cloud environments
• Manage and maintain a large CI/CD infrastructure footprint using tools such as UCD, JFrog Artifactory, GitHub Actions, Harness, and Jenkins
• Respond to and resolve incidents in a timely manner to maintain high levels of system availability and stability
• Plan and execute change tasks, tool upgrades, and business continuity planning exercises
• Create and maintain operational runbooks for standard incident categories and problem management
• Collaborate with engineering teams and vendors to resolve technical issues and improve system efficiencies
• Work according to an on-call schedule, including morning/evening shifts and weekends

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture, or an equivalent professional background
• Experience with CI/CD tools administration and large-scale infrastructure management
• Proficiency in Python for automating infrastructure operations
• Experience managing and scaling Docker and Kubernetes based applications and infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or AppDynamics

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing CI/CD tools on both virtual machines and Kubernetes
• Ability to establish metrics to proactively manage capacity, performance, and error rates
• Fundamental knowledge of Generative AI, including Large Language Models, prompt engineering, and RAG
• Experience with log analysis and creating operational dashboards
