Senior Systems Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the management of installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
• Increase system efficiencies and reduce human intervention through automation
• Review and analyze operational support systems and management tools to ensure high availability
• Collaborate with vendors and technical personnel to resolve complex issues and maintain platform stability
• Lead teams to meet technical deliverables while adhering to process controls and standards
• Proactively monitor the Cloudera Data Platform (DPC) to manage incidents and minimize downtime

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture, or an equivalent combination of experience, training, or education

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Cloudera DPC platform
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix and cloud fundamentals
• Experience with SQL and Python for automation of operational tasks and data workflows
• Experience with Autosys job scheduling and ITSM processes
• Basic awareness of AI/ML data pipelines
