Senior Systems Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
• Increase system efficiencies and reduce human intervention through automation
• Review and analyze operational support systems and management tools to ensure high availability
• Collaborate with vendors and technical personnel to resolve complex technical issues
• Lead teams to meet technical deliverables while adhering to process controls and standards

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture, or equivalent
• Proven experience in Linux systems production support
• Proficiency in Redhat Linux
• Hands-on experience with Ansible playbook development for systems administration
• Experience developing observability dashboards using tools like Grafana, Splunk, or ServiceNow

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of infrastructure components including Routers, Switches, Servers, SAN, and NAS devices
• Familiarity with Infrastructure Service Management processes such as Incident, Change, and Problem Management
• Experience with remote administration of various infrastructure devices
• Ability to troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues using diagnostic tools
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with multiple support teams and business units
