Senior Systems Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technology change management as the primary change approver and control executor for high-criticality infrastructure changes
• Manage installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention
• Review and analyze complex operational support systems and application software to ensure high levels of infrastructure availability
• Lead the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and manage stakeholder communications to prevent change-related escalations
• Execute change management controls with high accuracy to ensure all processes are audit-ready and compliant with enterprise policy
• Collaborate with vendors and technical personnel to resolve complex issues and achieve optimal system performance
• Act as a strategic advisor to technology and business teams, balancing delivery speed with risk management

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture, or a related field
• Strong expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL frameworks
• Experience with ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams, or equivalent enterprise tools
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux Server OS, including physical and virtual server technology
• Understanding of Cloud technologies and network/routing topology
• Familiarity with Agile and Kanban software development methodologies
• Experience working within financial services or large-scale regulated enterprises

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and managing Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings with senior management
• Advanced skills in PowerBI, Excel, and data analysis tools
• Strong executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a 24x7, high-pressure production environment
