Senior Systems Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design vehicle assembly processes and procedures
• Develop tools and hardware for vehicle assembly and testing
• Develop full testing campaigns for electronic and mechanical systems
• Manage vehicle integration build flow and test concept of operations
• Evaluate designs for manufacturability and sub-system integration
• Interface with engineers and technicians to advance manufacturing and automation
• Manage work orders and drive non-conformances to actionable improvements
• Resolve electrical and mechanical debugging issues at system and sub-system levels

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in test or manufacturing engineering for integrated assembly operations
• Hands-on technical experience
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related engineering discipline
• Experience testing propulsion, thermal, electrical, and structural systems
• Experience with vibration, shock, thermal, vacuum, and radiation testing
• Electrical debugging of PCB Assemblies and ability to read electrical schematics
• Experience in an aerospace production environment or cleanroom setting
• Ability to read and write basic code
• Experience using Linux-based operating systems
