Senior Systems Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integration strategies for satellite communication systems, segments, subsystems, and components
• Perform analysis of system requirements and verify technical baselines
• Apply Digital Engineering methods and modeling strategies like Digital Twins to support integration and test activities
• Lead Government/Contractor Working Group meetings, including developing briefings and resolving technical risks
• Review proposed changes to technical baselines for impacts on enterprise capabilities
• Serve as a subject matter expert to assess technical issues and prepare briefings for U.S. Space Force personnel
• Support risk management, issue tracking, and the development of resolution action plans

Requirements

• Master's degree in a technical field (Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science)
• 15+ years of experience in Systems Engineering
• 10+ years of experience leading technical teams
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (with ability to obtain Top Secret)
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to work on-site in a secure facility in El Segundo, CA

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in a technical field
• Experience with MILSATCOM programs (AEHF, PTS, EPS, WGS, or FAB-T)
• Experience working with military and DoD civilians
• Experience with ground and airborne systems, terminals, and networks
• Knowledge of Agile Development and tools like Jira and Confluence
