Senior Systems Implementation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the specification, design, implementation, and support of condition monitoring systems for the global power industry
• Create system proposals and work with customers to determine technical requirements
• Design distributed condition monitoring systems to industry standards in a co-design environment
• Configure monitoring devices, peripherals (e.g., PLC), data acquisition/UI applications (e.g., SCADA), and distributed data networks
• Author technical documentation, including O&M documents and complete project document packages
• Provide technical support for installation and commissioning teams, including troubleshooting and data interpretation
• Attend customer sites for system commissioning, maintenance, and user training

Requirements

• Degree in an engineering discipline (ideally electrical engineering) or 10 years of electrical utility engineering/operations experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the power industry
• Strong understanding of electrical circuits and schematics
• Demonstrable system integration skills
• Practical experience troubleshooting monitoring and diagnostic equipment in the field
• Proven ability to work with site safety regulations and certifications
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites
• Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing ladders and lifting up to 15kg

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high voltage or industrial environments
• Proficiency with 2D CAD design
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, MQTT, or IEC61850
• Experience with SCADA system and gateway configuration
• Experience with factory acceptance testing and system commissioning
