Senior Systems Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee 7 Systems Engineering First Line leaders and approximately 150 Systems Engineers & Analysts
• Lead Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) teams supporting Aircrew and Maintenance training for platforms including F-15, F/A-18, T-7, T-45, and MQ-25
• Ensure cross-functional team performance and on-time delivery within allocated budgets
• Develop staffing, onboarding, and development strategies for the Systems Engineering organization
• Define and manage SEIT metrics to ensure effective and efficient program execution
• Support proposal development for Air Dominance proposals and provide technical approvals for engineering commitment reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited course of study
• 5+ years of engineering or technical experience on aircraft, mission systems, or training solutions
• 1+ years of experience working with agile development at scale (e.g., SAFe or similar)
• 3+ years of engineering management experience
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
• 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams
• 3+ years of experience working directly with customers and/or suppliers
