About the role
Responsibilities
- Implement Atlassian Cloud features by driving technical aspects of implementation, including data, plugins, infrastructure, and functionality
- Architect business-critical functionality through coding, prototyping, scripting, or outlining solutions
- Manage and support all administrative functions associated with the Atlassian Cloud product suite
- Develop critical tooling including application development, workflows, screen schemes, automations, JQL, reporting, and integrations
- Investigate and perform advanced troubleshooting for reported issues in B2B products
- Gather business requirements to optimize software setup and workflows
- Serve as a subject matter expert for B2B products and support teams across the organization
- Evaluate and recommend new plugins and applications to enhance functionality
- Create and maintain documentation on Atlassian Cloud configurations and processes
- Execute production deployments during non-business hours
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a large Atlassian environment (approx. 10,000 users)
- Expertise in Atlassian Cloud product suite and Forge App Development
- Proficient coding/scripting experience using Python, Groovy, or similar languages
- Expert knowledge of REST API and JSON
- Deep expertise in Jira workflow administration, Automation for Jira, ScriptRunner, and JQL
- Experience with Confluence space administration
- Proven track record with Atlassian plugin installations and upgrades
- Hands-on experience supporting Atlassian tools in on-prem or AWS environments
- Experience working within an Agile methodology lifecycle
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a comparable field
