Senior Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own and resolve Tier 3 incidents involving hardware, software, identity, endpoints, and infrastructure
• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise initiatives, including system migrations and modernization efforts
• Design, configure, and manage systems across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and cloud solutions across Azure and AWS
• Support Windows 10/11 enterprise endpoints and Windows Server environments
• Design and support network infrastructure including firewalls, VLANs, and VPNs using Fortinet equipment
• Implement security-first architectures aligned with Zero Trust principles
• Drive automation and scripting to improve reliability and reduce manual effort
• Mentor and support other IT and technology teams across the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience delivering enterprise IT solutions and resolving complex IT issues
• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Microsoft Azure environments
• Deep experience with Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Defender, Exchange)
• Strong experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and hybrid identity
• Experience supporting regulated government cloud environments (GCC High, Azure Government, AWS GovCloud, FedRAMP, or ITAR)
• Experience designing hybrid, multi-forest, and multi-cloud architectures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Fortinet networking and security equipment
• Exposure to OT networking in manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with ITIL processes
• Exposure to CAD systems such as SolidWorks
