Senior Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain requirements, feature description documents, and user manuals
• Perform functional decomposition to meet system and domain-level requirements
• Participate in system engineering artifact development and technical reviews
• Conduct performance analyses, risk assessments, and trade studies
• Define and manage internal and external system interfaces
• Maintain engineering documentation in accordance with configuration management standards
• Provide requirements clarification to software development and test teams
• Support SEIT activities, including preparation and execution of program reviews
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily scrums

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant systems engineering experience
• Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle (requirements, functional analysis, interface definition, V&V)
• Experience supporting systems engineering activities on government contracts
• Proficiency with requirements management tools such as DOORS or similar databases
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI clearance required prior to start date

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DevSecOps methodologies
• Experience with Agile development tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Experience with MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler)
• Scrum Master or Agile leadership experience
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment
