About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans for electro-optical (EO) systems and components
  • Create and decompose requirements, define system interfaces, and determine validation/verification methods
  • Conduct testing on optical and electrical components, collect data, and analyze results to optimize performance
  • Perform integration, verification, and validation testing to ensure systems meet specifications
  • Identify and resolve technical issues during testing and provide troubleshooting and calibration support
  • Document test results through comprehensive reports for program management and stakeholders
  • Support system performance analysis and participate in technical reviews

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
  • Experience with systems engineering lifecycles, including requirements management and functional analysis
  • Experience with system software, hardware, and/or testing processes
  • Proven ability to present analytical and technical findings to stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MATLAB, Python, or other programming languages
  • Proficiency with digital engineering tools such as DOORS, DNG, Rhapsody, or Cameo
  • Experience in an integration lab, test facility, or field environment
  • Knowledge of Agile systems engineering practices
  • Experience using Monte Carlo simulations to model system performance
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for customer support and events
