Senior Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform integrated analysis and evaluation of Defense of Guam (DoG) test events, including Flight Tests and Ground Tests
• Support engineering milestones such as Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews (PDR/CDR) and Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs)
• Collaborate with MDA stakeholders to coordinate schedules, resolve technical issues, and ensure accuracy
• Provide input on secure system design, risk identification, and mitigation strategies
• Develop executive-level briefings, technical papers, and correspondence for senior leaders and Flag Officers
• Represent the Government customer in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), working groups, and forums
• Utilize engineering tools such as DOORS, Windchill, and Qlik for analysis and coordination

Requirements

• 12+ years of relevant systems engineering or technical experience for missile defense programs
• Master's Degree in a STEM field
• Active Secret security clearance
• Strong understanding of MDA systems engineering processes and procedures
• Experience with MDA system elements such as Patriot, THAAD, Aegis, or C2BMC
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project)
• Ability to communicate effectively across diverse technical teams and deliver briefings to senior decision-makers

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field in addition to a Master's degree
• Background in secure system development and cybersecurity-informed engineering practices
• Knowledge of the ETM-2 system and experience managing Congressional or routine taskers
